Duta CHSE Batam Dampingi Menparekraf Tinjau Penerapan Protokol Kesehatan di Batam

Disbudpar Batam – Duta CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, Environmental Sustainability) Batam, Dhiaulhaq dan Dokter Missy ikut mendampingi kunjungan kerja Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno di Batam, Jumat (22/1)

Saat konferensi pers, Sandi menyampaikan adanya Duta CHSE di Kota Batam merupakan gagasan yang baik untuk merangkul semua lapisan masyarakat terlibat melaksanakan protokol kesehatan.

“Duta CHSE ini adalah bagian dari gerakan secara masif di seluruh wilayah Indonesia, dan program CHSE ini program unggulan di masa pandemi,” terangnya.

Dalam kunjungan kerjanya tersebut, Sandiaga meninjau sejumlah lokasi pariwisata Kota Batam. Nongsa Point Marina (NPM), Nongsa, Infinite Studio Batam, dan Palm Spring Batam, dan Dekranasda Kota Batam. Sebelumnya ia meninjau pelaksanaan protokol kesehatan (protkes) di Bandara Hang Nadim.

“Saya meninjau kesiapan dan pelaksanaan protkes di Bandara Hang Nadim. Saya melihat kepatuhan petugas sangat ketat,” katanya.

Turut dalam kegiatan tersebut, Wali Kota Batam Muhammad Rudi, Assisten Ekonomi Pembangunan Kepri, Syamsul Bahrum, Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Kepri Buralimar dan juga Kepala Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata (Disbudpar) Kota Batam, Ardiwinata.

Sandiaga menyebutkan, ada dua hal yang ingin ia dapatkan dalam kunjungannya. Pertama, memastikan kesiapan prokes yang ketat dan disiplin sehingga ekonomi kembali menggeliat, terutama sektor pariwisata.

“Kita bisa melihat yang paling adalah terdampak hotel dan restauran dengan tingkat kunjungan yang turun,” imbuhnya.

Kedua, selain industri pariwisata secara umum, ekonomi kreatif Batam menjadi perhatian Kemenparekraf. lanjut dia, industri kreatifnya sangat tumbuh karena berdekatan dengan pusat pertumbuhan dunia yaitu Singapura dan Malaysia, maka dari itu perlu dijaga.

“Saya sangat mengenal Batam, usaha pertama saya sebagai pebisnis di Batam dan bernostaligia setiap kali ke sini. Batam punya potensi yang luar biasa,” paparnya.

Sandiaga juga mengungkapkan yang akan diterapkan Kemenparekraf di Batam yang notabenenya merupakan boarder tourism. Menurutnya, kunci pertama adalah meyakinkan bahwa situasi kesehatan ini harus dikelola dengan ketat dan disiplin, selain memulai merencanakan program-program stimulus agar Parekraf terus bangkit. “Jika Batam bisa mendapatkan angka penularan yang terus menurun dan zero community infection, mungkin kita bisa menerapkan boarder tourism ini sebagai gerbang nomor dua atau tiga setelah Bali,” sebutnya.

CHSE Ambassadors of Batam Accompanying the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Reviewing the Implementation of Health Protocols in Batam

The Culture and Tourism Department of Batam City – CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, Environmental Sustainability) Ambassadors of Batam, Dhiaulhaq and Doctor Missy accompanied the work visit of the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno in Batam, on Friday (22/1).

During the press conference, Sandi said that having a CHSE Ambassador in Batam City was a good idea to embrace all levels of society involved in implementing health protocols.

“The CHSE ambassador is part of a massive movement throughout Indonesia, and the CHSE program is a top priority program during the pandemic,” he explained.

During his work visit, Sandiaga visited a some of tourism locations in Batam City. Nongsa Point Marina (NPM), Nongsa, Infinite Studio Batam, and Palm Springs Batam, and the Regional National Craft Council of Batam City. Previously he reviewed the implementation of the health protocol at Hang Nadim Airport.

“I reviewed the readiness and implementation of the health protocol at Hang Nadim Airport. I see the officers obedience is very strict,” he said.

Those who participating in these activities are the Mayor of Batam, Muhammad Rudi, the Assistant Economic Development of the Riau Islands, Syamsul Bahrum, the Head of the Riau Islands Tourism Department, Buralimar and also the Head of the Batam City Culture and Tourism Department, Ardiwinata.

Sandiaga said, there are two things he wants to get in his work visit. First, he wants to ensure the readiness of strict and disciplined health protocols so that the economy can revive, especially the tourism sector.

“We can see that the most affected are hotels and restaurants with low visit rate,” he added.

Second, besides the tourism industry in general, Batam’s creative economy is the focus of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. He continued, the creative industry is growing because it is close to the center of world growth, they are Singapore and Malaysia, so it needs to be maintained.

“I know Batam very well, my first attempt as a businessman in Batam and feel nostalgic every time I come here. Batam has tremendous potential,” he explained.

Sandiaga also revealed, what the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy will implement in Batam, which is actually border tourism. According to him, the first key is to ensure that this health situation must be managed strictly and discipline, besides starting planning stimulus programs so the tourism and the creative economy will always rise.

“If Batam can get transmission rates that continue to decline and zero community infection, maybe we can implement the border tourism as the second or third entry gate after Bali,” he said.
