Siapkan Pelaku Wisata, Disbudpar Gelar Pelatihan Kebersihan Lingkungan, Sanitasi, dan Pengelolaan Sampah di Destinasi Wisata

Disbudpar Batam- Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata (Disbudpar) Kota Batam kembali menggelar pelatihan bagi pelaku pariwisata di Kota Batam. Sebelumnya, sebanyak 40 pelaku pariwisata telah diberikan pelatihan Tata Kelola Bisnis dan Pemasaran Digitalisasi Destinasi Pariwisata pada 8-10 September lalu. Pelatihan kedua dengan tema Pelatihan Kebersihan Lingkungan, Sanitasi, dan Pengelolaan Sampah di Destinasi Wisata diikuti 35 pelaku pariwisata di Millenium Hotel, Batu Ampar dari tanggal 13-15 September 2021.

Kepala Disbudpar Kota Batam, Ardiwinata, menjelaskan pada pelatihan kedua ini 35 peserta adalah merupakan pelaku wisata, pemilik dan pengurus destinasi wisata.

“Pelatihan ini diadakan tiga hari, mereka diberikan pengetahuan bagaimana mengelola pariwisata juga bagaimana mengemasnya dengan baik,” katanya.

Bagi Ardi, wawasan tentang kebersihan ini sangatlah penting, karena tempat wisata selayaknya harus bersih sehingga dapat memberikan kenyamanan bagi pengunjung. Lebih baik lagi kalau sampah yang ada dapat dikelola dengan baik, seperti sampah plastik yang bisa dibuat kerajinan seperti tas, tempat tisu, dan sebagainya.

Ardi menambahkan, pelatihan ini bertujuan sebagai upaya pemerintah melalui Disbudpar Kota Batam untuk meningkatkan kapasitas SDM pariwisata sehingga terwujud pelayanan yang baik dalam industri pariwisata di Kota Batam.

“Pelatihan hari ini adalah upaya kita pemerintah dalam mempersiapkan pelaku pariwisata agar setelah Covid-19 berakhir kita siap menerima kunjungan wisatawan kembali,” sebutnya.

Lanjut Ardi, Community Based Tourism (CBT) sudah saatnya menyiapkan diri.
“Semoga apa yang diberikan oleh narasumber bisa diterapkan di destinasi wisatanya masing-masing,” pintanya.

Selama pelaksanaan kegiatan, Ardi menegaskan untuk tetap menerapkan protokol kesehatan sesuai anjuran pemerintah. Seperti memakai masker, mencuci tangan dengan sabun, dan menjaga jarak.
“Selama kegiatan wajib menerapkan namanya protokol kesehatan,” tegasnya.

Pada hari ketiga pelatihan, peserta akan diajak kelapangan melihat destinasi wisata di Batam, yakni ke Hutan Mangrove Pandang Tak Jemu, Nongsa

Prepare Tourism Stakeholders, Batam City Culture and Tourism Department Holds a Training About Environmental Hygiene, Sanitation, and Waste Management at the Tourist Destinations

Culture and Tourism Department of Batam City- Culture and Tourism Department of Batam City holds a training for the tourism stakeholders. Previously, about 40 tourism stakeholders had been given training in Business Governance and Marketing of Digitizing Tourism Destinations from September 08 to 10, 2021. The second training with the theme of Environmental Hygiene, Sanitation, and Waste Management Training at the Tourist Destinations was attended by 35 tourism stakeholders at the Millennium One Hotel, Batu Ampar from September 13 to 15, 2021.

Head of Batam City Culture and Tourism Department, Ardiwinata, explained that in this second training, 35 participants were tourism stakeholders, owners and administrators of tourist destinations.

“This training will be held for three days, they were given knowledge on how to manage tourism also how to package it well,” he said.

For him, the cleanliness insight is very important, because tourist attractions should be clean so that they can providing a comfortness for the visitors. It is even better if the existing waste can be managed properly, such as plastic waste that can be made into crafts such as bags, tissue holders, and others.

He added, this training was aimed as an effort by the government through the Batam City Culture and Tourism Department to increase the capacity of tourism human resources so that good service will realized in the tourism industry in Batam City.

“Today’s training is our government’s effort to prepare the tourism stakeholders, so that after Covid-19 ends we are ready to have the tourist visits again,” he said.

He continued, it is time for Community Based Tourism (CBT) to prepare themselves.
“Hopefully what is given by the resource person, can be applied at their respective tourist destinations,” he said.

During the implementation of the activity, he emphasized that we should continue to apply the health protocols as a recommend by the government. Such as wearing a mask, washing hands with soap, and keep the distance.
“During the activities, it is mandatory to apply the health protocol,” he said.

On the third day of the training, participants will be invited to see the tourist destinations in Batam, it is Pandang Tak Jemu Mangrove Forest, Nongsa
