Bangkitkan Pariwisata, DPD ASPPI Gelar Tourism Soldier Carnival Kepri

Disbudpar Batam- Asosiasi Pelaku Pariwisata Indonesia (ASPPI) Kepulauan Riau menggelar kegiatan Tourism Soldier Carnival di pelataran Musuem Batam Raja Ali Haji, Dataran Engku Putri, Batam Center, Minggu (4/4/2021). Ketua DPD ASPPI Kepri, Donna menyebutkan ini adalah kegiatan perdana ditahun 2021 dan sebagai momentum kebangkitan pariwisata Batam khususnya dan Kepri secara umum.
“kita berharap kegiatan ini menjadi momentum kebangkitan pariwisata, dengan adaptasi pariwisata dan adaptasi berwisata,” katanya.
Kegiatan yang berlangsung sejak mulai pukul 08.00 Wib. hingga pukul 22.00 Wib. Ini diawali dengan penampilan atraksi yoga dari Batam Yoga Community yang mengusung tema “Morning Yoga Lounge,” kemudian disusul penampilan Zumba dari The Backbone Fitness, dilanjutkan dengan lomba Vlog dari Youtuber Plat BP Batam serta lomba Guiding dari Himpunan Pramuwisata Indonesia (HPI) Kota Batam.
Hadir dalam kesempatan tersebut Duta Wisata Encik dan Puan Kota Batam Tahun 2021 dan Duta CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety dan Environmental Sustainability) binaan Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Batam yang memberikan sharing soal penerapan CHSE atau protokol kesehatan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari,”tambah Donna.
Dikatakannya, Musuem Batam Raja Ali Haji menjadi salah satu pilihan karena dinilai sangat cocok dijadikan sebagai tempat kegiatan Tourism Carnival disamping museum ini juga salah satu destinasi wisata baru di Kota Batam disamping itu juga memiliki pemandangan yang indah dan cocok diabadikan lewat kamera.
“Kita ingin mengangkat Musuem Batam Raja Ali Haji supaya masyarakat Batam lebih mengenal dan lebih mengetahui sejarah Batam lewat lomba guiding yang juga mengangkat tema tentang musuem,” terangnya.
Panitia juga menggelar fasion show bersama Batam Tik Tok Comunity bertema “Tour and Travel” kategori anak-anak dan dewasa.
“Mereka akan tampil memakai busana ala traveling,” ucapnya.
Sejumlah atraksi menarik lainnya telah dipersiapkan, seperti Cosplay Runwai dari Tomodachi Batam, Carnival Runwai dari DPD Akari Kepri, Lucky draw, Sharing ASSPI, Modern dance, Perform boliwood. Pengumuman pemenang lomba, Penampilan Batik Kepri dari Batik 37 oleh Debby Soemarwanto dan Performance tari daerah akan menjadi penutup seluruh rangkaian acara. Tak hanya menyuguhkan kegiatan yang menarik kepada pengunjung karnaval, tersedia pula bazaar yang menawarkan ragam kuliner dan fashion.
“Ada 19 stand bazaar, terdiri dari makanan, minuman, fashion, kosmetik dan pegadaiaan,” sebut Donna.
Sementara Kepala Disbudpar Kota Batam, Ardiwinata usai membuka kegiatan menyampaikan apresiasi kepada DPD ASPPI yang telah menggelar kegiatan spekatakuler dalam rangka menggairahkan kembali pariwisata khususnya di Kota Batam. Ardi berharap kegiatan ini berjalan sukses dan menjadi agenda tahunan pariwisata Kota Batam.
“Event ASPPI ini salah satu dari 164 calender of event atau kalender pariwisata Kota Batam,” ujarya.
Dikatakannya, Wali Kota Batam, Muhammad Rudi telah mengembangkan infrastruktur dan memperindah Kota Batam dalam konsep pariwisata. Kota Batam juga memiliki amenitas yang lengkap, seperti adanya hotel, resort, rumah sakit dan pelabuhan internasional. Kemudian Batam juga mempunyai ragam event budaya dan pariwisata.
“Kita butuh event menarik lainnya untuk mengairahkan kembali pariwisata dan ekonomi,” pungkasnya. *

Awaken the Tourism, The Regional Representative Council of Indonesian Tourism Stakeholders Association Holds the Riau Islands Tourism Soldier Carnival

Culture and Tourism Department of Batam City- Indonesian Tourism Stakeholders Association of Riau Islands holds a Tourism Soldier Carnival event at the Batam Raja Ali Haji Museum yard, Engku Putri Square, Batam Center, Sunday (4/4/2021). The Chairman of the Regional Representative Council of Indonesian Tourism Stakeholders Association of Riau Islands, Donna said this was the first event in 2021 and as a momentum for the revival of Batam tourism in particular and Riau Islands in general.

“We hope that this event will become a momentum for tourism awakening, with tourism and travel adaptation,” she said.

The event that take place from 8 a.m to 10 p.m, starting with the performance of yoga attractions from the Batam Yoga Community with the theme “Morning Yoga Lounge” then followed by a Zumba performance from The Backbone Fitness, followed by a Vlog competition from Youtuber Plat BP Batam and a Guiding competition from the Indonesian Tour Guides Association of Batam City.

“Present on the occasion, the 2021 Encik and Puan Batam Tourism Ambassadors and CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability) Ambassadors assisted by the Batam City Culture and Tourism Department shared about the implementation of CHSE or health protocols in everyday life,” added Donna.

She said, Batam Raja Ali Haji Museum is one of the choices because it is considered very suitable to be used as a place for Tourism Carnival activities besides this museum is also one of the new tourist destinations in Batam City and it also has beautiful views which is suitable to be immortalized through the camera.

“We want to raise the Batam Raja Ali Haji Museum so that the people of Batam are more familiar with and know the history of Batam through a guiding competition which also takes the theme of the museum,” she explained.

The committee also holds a fashion show with Batam Tik Tok Community themed “Tour and Travel” for children and adults categiries.

“They will appear by wearing traveling-style outfits,” she said.

A number of other interesting attractions have been prepared, such as cosplay runway from Tomodachi Batam, carnival runway from the Regional Representative Council of the Indonesian Carnival Association of Riau Islands, lucky draw, ASSPI sharing, modern dance, bollywood performance. The winners announcement of the competition, the appearance of Batik Kepri from Batik 37 by Debby Soemarwanto and the performance of traditional dances will be the closing of the whole series of the event. Not only presenting interesting activities for carnival visitors, there is also a bazaar that offers a variety of culinary and fashion.

“There are 19 bazaar stands, they are foods, drinks, fashions, and cosmetics stands, and also pawn shop,” Donna said.

Meanwhile, Head of the Batam City Culture and Tourism Department, Ardiwinata, after opening the event, expressed his appreciation to the Regional Representative Council of the Indonesian Tourism Stakeholders Association for holding spectacular event in order to revive tourism, especially in Batam City. Ardi hopes that this activity will run successfully and become an annual tourism agenda in Batam City.

“This event is one of the 164 events in the Batam City tourism calendar,” he said.

He said, the Mayor of Batam, Muhammad Rudi has developed infrastructure and beautified Batam City in the concept of tourism. Batam City also has complete amenities, such as hotels, resorts, hospitals and international ports. Then Batam also has a variety of cultural and tourism events.
