Disbudpar Batam- 25 Pelukis dari berbagai komunitas di Kota Batam menjadikan Museum Batam Raja Ali Haji sebagai objek lukisannya, Kamis (11/3/2021). Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan sebagai salah satu ajang untuk mempromosikan destinasi wisata di Kota Batam.
Haryono, penggagas acara bertajuk “Live Painting On The Spot” tersebut, mengatakan, dipilihnya Museum Batam Raja Ali Haji karena tempat tersebut kini jadi salah satu destinasi wisata menarik di Kota Batam. Ia menilai, gedung yang berlokasi di Dataran Engku Putri, Batam Centre ini memiliki berbagai sudut yang menarik untuk diabadikan di atas kanvas.
“Kegiatan ini sebagai ajang silaturrahmi, happy fun lintas komunitas sekaligus mempromosikan Museum Batam Raja Ali Haji,” katanya.
Ia mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Pemerintah Kota (Pemko) Batam melalui Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata (Disbudpar) Kota Batam yang mendukung kegiatan melukis di objek wisata baru di Kota Batam itu. Dikatakannya, kegiatan serupa bakal berlanjut di Rumah Limas Potong Nongsa.
“Hari ini para seniman melukis langsung objek yang bersentuhan dengan pariwisata. Tujuannya, kami ingin ikut berkontribusi mempromosikan Kota Batam kepada wisatawan,” terangnya.
Kepala Disbudpar Kota Batam, Ardiwinata, menyambut baik kegiatan yang digelar oleh komunitas pelukis di Kota Batam tersebut. Menurutnya, kegiatan ini sebagai bentuk rasa cinta para seniman kepada Museum Batam Raja Ali Haji. Museum ini merupakan destinasi baru di Kota Batam dan sudah banyak komunitas yang ingin mengekspesikan karyanya di museum, seperti yang dilakukan komunitas pelukis tersebut.
“Pemko Batam akan terus mendukung atraksi seperti ini. Melukus termasuk dalam 16 sub sektor ekonomi kreatif,” sebutnya.
Apabila pintu masuk perbatasan (borders) sudah dibuka, Ardi optimis museum dan objek wisata lain di Kota Batam akan kembali ramai dikunjungi wisatawan, baik domestik maupun mancanegara. Bahkan, sambung Ardi, atraksi melukis mungkin juga bakal disenangi oleh wisatawan.
“Karena nanti wisatawan bisa ikut melukis dan mengabadikan museum dan tempat wisata lain di Kota Batam,” pungkasnya. (*)
25 Painters Capture Batam Raja Ali Haji Museum on Their Canvas
Culture and Tourism Department of Batam City- 25 painters from different communities in Batam City made Batam Raja Ali Haji Museum as the object of their painting, Thursday (11/3/2021). This activity is carried out as an event to promote tourist destinations in Batam City.
Haryono, the initiator of the event entitled “Live Painting on the Spot”, said that Batam Raja Ali Haji Museum was chosen because this place is now one of the attractive tourist destinations in Batam City. He considered that the building, which is located on Dataran Engku Putri, Batam Center, has various interesting angles to be immortalized on canvas.
“This activity is a gathering place, happy fun across communities as well as promoting the Batam Raja Ali Haji Museum,” he said.
He said thank to Batam City Government through the Batam City Culture and Tourism Department, who have supported painting activities at the new tourist destination in Batam City. He said, a similar activity will be continue at Rumah Limas Potong Nongsa.
“Today the artists paint directly the objects which contact with tourism. The goal is we want to contribute to promoting Batam City to the tourists, “he explained.
The Head of Batam City Culture and Tourism Department, Ardiwinata, welcomed the activity which held by the painter community in Batam City. According to him, this activity is a form of love for the artists to the Batam Raja Ali Haji Museum. This museum is a new destination in Batam City and there are many communities who want to express their work in museums, as has been done by the painter community.
“Batam City Government will keep supporting the attraction like this. Painting included in the 16 sub-sectors of the creative economy,” he said.
If the border entrance has been opened, Ardi is optimistic that museum and other tourist objects in Batam City will be crowded with tourists again, both domestic and foreign. In fact, continued Ardi, painting attractions might also be liked by the tourists.
“Because the tourists can also paint and immortalize the museum or other tourist destination in Batam City,” he concluded. (*)
