ASLI Kembali Gelar Batam Flower Festival

Disbudpar Batam- Ditahun 2020 Batam Flower Festival berlangsung sukses, terbukti kegiatan ini dapat mendorong ekonomi serta menggairahkan pariwisata dan ekonomi kreatif. Di awal tahun 2021 Asosiasi Seni Lanskap Indonesia (Asli) Kota Batam binaan Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata (Disbudpar) Kota Batam kembali menggelar pameran tanaman hias yang berlangsung di Lapangan Parkir, Batam City Square (BCS) 15 Januari hingga 14 April 2021.

Ketua ASLI Kota Batam, Bambang mengatakan Batam Flower Festival sudah kali kedua dilaksanakan, sebelumnya pameran berlangsung di Mega Mall. Lanjut dia pameran ini akan terus berlanjut di pusat perbelanjaan lainnya di Kota Batam.

“Berlangsung selama tiga bulan, pameran akan terus berlanjut di mall lain,” katanya, Sabtu (23/1).

Ia menyebutkan 18 tenant meramaikan pameran kali ini dengan menghadirkan tanaman hias, seperti aglonema, varigata, bonsai. Dan paling menarik pameran kali ini menghadirkan tanaman hias khas Tahun Baru China (Imlek).

“Selain bonsai, kita juga menambah tanaman hias khas Imlek seperti Jeruk Imlek, ficus, fortulaka, dan anthurium mickey mouse,” sebutnya.

Pameran ini juga bakal dimeriahkan dengan kontes tanaman hias yang akan digelar setiap bulannya.
“Kalau sebelumnya kontesnya hanya dua kategori tanaman, selanjutnya kita bakal buat lima kategori tanaman hias,” ucapnya.

Bambang juga mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Disbudpar Kota Batam yang terus membina ASLI Kota Batam, serta BCS Mall yang telah mendukung kegiatan ini.

Kepala Disbudpar Kota Batam, Ardiwinata menyampaikan terima kasih atas semangat ASLI untuk menggairahkan kembali pariwisata dan ekonomi kreatif. Pemko Batam melalui Disbudpar Batam akan terus mendukung Batam Flower Festival.

“Kegiatan sangat berdampak baik untuk meningkatkan ekonomi saat pandemi Covid-19,” katanya.

Ardi berharap kegiatan ini terus berlanjut di pusat perbelanjaan Kota Batam dan destinasi wisata lainnya. Tentang kontes, merupakan bagian dari pameran sebagai wadah masyarakat Kota Batam memamerkan koleksi tanaman hias.

“Pameran dan kontes tanaman hias akan menjadi agenda rutin Disbudpar Kota Batam,” pungkasnya.

ASLI Returns to Hold Batam Flower Festival

The Culture and Tourism Department of Batam City – In 2020, the Batam Flower Festival was a success. It is proven that this activity can boost the economy and stimulate tourism and the creative economy. In early 2021, the Batam City Indonesian Landscape Arts Association under the guidance of the Batam City Culture and Tourism Office returns to held an ornamental plant exhibition which licated at the Parking Lot of Batam City Square (BCS) from 15 January to 14 April 2021.

Chairman of the Batam City Indonesian Landscape Arts Association, Bambang said the Batam Flower Festival has been held twice, previously the exhibition was located at the Mega Mall. He continued, this exhibition will continue in other shopping centers in Batam City.

“It take place for three months, the exhibition will continue at other malls,” he said, on Saturday (23/1).

“Besides bonsai, we also add Chinese New Year special ornamental plants such as Chinese New Year oranges, ficus, fortulaka, and anthurium mickey mouse,” he said.

This exhibition will also be enlivened by an ornamental plant contest which will be held every month.
“In the previous exhibition, there were only two categories of plant contests, then we will create five categories of ornamental plants,” he said.

Bambang also thanked the Batam City Culture and Tourism Department to keep coaching the Batam City Indonesian Landscape Arts Association, as well as BCS Mall for supporting this activity.

Head of the Batam City Culture and Tourism Department, Ardiwinata, expressed his gratitude for the spirit of the Indonesian Landscape Arts Association to revive tourism and the creative economy. The Batam City Government through the Batam Culture and Tourism Department will always support the Batam Flower Festival.

“This activity has a very good impact on improving the economy during the Covid-19 pandemic,” he said.

Ardi hopes that this activity will continue in other Batam City shopping center and other tourist destinations. About the contest, it is a part of the exhibition as a forum for Batam City people to showcase collections of ornamental plants.

“The exhibition and contest of ornamental plants will be a routine agenda of Batam City Tourism and Culture Department,” he concluded.
